"There are two types of male
oysters, and one of them can change
genders at will. And before man crawled out of the muck, maybe he had the
same
option. Maybe originally we were supposed to be able to switch genders,
and
being born with just one sex ... is a mutation."
Okay, so this quote, it's actually more of a line, is from CSI's 100th episode called Ch-Changes. This was what Grissom said to Mimosa at the end of the episode.
Anyways, on to one Social Ethics class....
We were discussing about something, I forgot what when I realized something. GOD IS AN OYSTER!!
Before any idea comes into your brains that would cause you to think that this is a new religion, read this.. IT'S NOT
Basically, oysterism is the "belief" that God can be represented as an oyster.
The question, now, is "why would you represent God as an oyster?" Well, why not?! For years we have drawn God as a hand in our CL exams papers when we are asked to draw something. Why can't we draw God as an oyster. They do have the same characteristics- they both have no known or standard gender.
I know people would defend that God is male, but really, is he? Some people believe that God is female. I know that God is perceived, by many, as the father, hence what is indicated when we make the sign of the cross, but we were taught that God was a spirit and has no gender. God is just like oysters in a sense that oysters start out male, but they have the power to change their gender [I actually learned this from my Fellow Snicker].
I'm not forcing anyone to believe my cause, but it does seem logical. I'm not against the religion I believe in. I go to church every Sunday, and pray everyday, but there are still some unanswered questions. Who knows, people from the old ages drew God as an oyster, though I find that hard to believe....
Now that you have read this short statement, I request you to please put one of the buttons found below.
You can either place a tag that shows your support or one that shows that you're aware of oysterism.
Again, this is not a religion... this is only my point of view....
You can resize the pictures so that they can fit your site. You should save them to your hard drive first and upload to your photo hosting account.
You can link the tags back to http://nestingdoll.bizhat.com/oysterism.html though it is not required.
