My NEW SCHOOL Experience
Sep. 06, 2005, TuesdayMy FIRST DAY in my NEW SCHOOL, Guildford Park.

It was "chaotic" at first,really.
I couldn't find my homeroom room assignment. Was panicking coz I might NOT even be able to reach it.
Then, I found the extremely-difficult-to-access- Homeroom list, and there it was--- Sanchez, Sofia H. -- F-11, H.R 29, Room A 200. I went in, and from then went with the flow...
It was, thankfully, a nice, smooth ride. *wink*
Though my name was "forgotten"---was missed to be put on the Attendance List---I managed to "identify" myself. *grins* Everything else--good guidelines and stuff---followed.
Oh, before that...
When I came to school, people were lookign at me. No, no looking---staring. Some, just catching a glimpse... there were two obvious reasons: 1) My mom brought me to school and walked with me for sometime, and 2) I was OBVIOUSLY.. a new face.
I didn't mind my mom being there.... okay, maybe just a little... but emabrassed feeling?? not much. I felt... proud she was there. *angel face* LOL.
The new face thing? It's normal.
I held my head high.
Walked as fast and as confident as I could. Looked as friendly but as I-mean-BUSINESS-here- as much as I could.
I felt like I was "representing" my SCHOOL... and my NATION.
Nope, I couldn't let them down. NEVER.
School was just for 45 or 50 minutes.
Yet it seemd like an HOUR or so.
Of opportunities... CHALLENGES... and FUN as well.
Didn't make so much "friends" in Homeroom...
The seat where I sat had two more seats at its right side... but the computers were closed and not working, so no one occupied them.
But, so far, God has blessed me with 3 or 4 acquaintances. *smiles*
God has blessed me with a good day today.
I TRUST HE HAS, FOR THE REST OF THE YEAR.
The challenge begins tomorrow.
I am looking forward to it.
May God guide me every step of the way.

well, i have to say, being forgotten in your class list is very-- hard
anyways, ate tin asked me if i could delete her membership in this blog so it's just the two of us...
it's been quite some time since i had placed an entry here... so i'll just make it up with this comment...
school here's okay... though we have this speech choir thing, you know, like the one during first year... anyway, we're required to stay in school for up to 5:30, 5 if you're a bus rider... i hope i can go home though.. especially on wednesday....
i wanna watch feeling the heat again... oh yea, don't forget, watch CSI there, premiere in the us is on sept. 22 so better wawtch out... first episode is called bodies in motion... snicker-y!!!
anyways, so far, it's really the sched i'm stressing about... also the fact that i have to report about the eterior angle/exterior angle inequality theorem....
oh yea, i also feel old since we are already asked to pick or choose what courses we like....
can you please give me a course related to forensics?!
anyways, i actually, would like to recommend a song to you, it's an old song already but i started to like it just now....
it's called standing right next to me... it's by karla bonoff... lindsey cardinale from AI sung this during the show... it's very nice!!
will be writing an entry about this in my blog soon....
oh yea one more...
CL, those reflection thinggies... well the scenario was you have a little sibling that doesn't like to eat veggies, what will you do/say?
of course i started off by saying i have no siblings...
anyway, sir joel underlined that sentence then wrote "do you eat vegetables?"
i actually laughed since well... i do... i'm actually gonna comment on the and say: "about the do you eat your veggies comment, well acutally, i do... i'm a vegetarian!"
haha!!
i know, it's a surprise... i still eat meat... but if you've read my past entries... i eat mostly chicken and fish... i've discovered that a piece of ham makes me feel like i'm gonna throw up...
about the beef... i only eat when i have to... if it's unavoidable. actually, kat is also a vegan... she only eats chicken...

About YOU and your Vegetarian issue... i caught myself laughing yet nodding. Sir David was quite funny there, oh boy!!! *LOL* And about you being sort of "allergic" to HAM... man, I bet that SUCKS girl!! (Oh well, at least it's not to, like, ANGUS BEEF or something like that... I know you just LOVE beef!) *grins*
And about CSI, guess WHAT?!!? All my new friends, including 1 Indonesian, 1 from L.A, 3-5 Filipinas and 2 Filipino guys---they all KNOW, LOVE, EAT and BREATHE CSI!!! Talk about such a great coincidence!!! You guys would get along sooooooo WELL!!! Plus, my Indonesian friend just LOVES Christian Bautista!! Talk about ME being soooooooo PROUD!!! *puppy eyes*
BTW, Thanks for the song recommendation, girl! I'll take your word for it. Oh, and, d'you know we have our own Canadian Idol here?!!? And so far, I am LOVIN it!!!
Hope you reply to my next entry (hopefully I still get to make it, coz right this moment I'm typing this, it's 12 am in the morning, SATURDAY... hehehe.. I miss KAT and MARIAN and LYDD and EVERYONE!!! Send them my LOVE!!!

Oh, and I forgot to mention I have a friend from the Mauricious Islands, too. It's located by the Indian OCEan. Is that cool or WHAT?!!? Because of her, I dicovered such an island exists. Oh well. Later days!!! *wink*
aww...it's nice that there are a lot of CSI fans there.. well, i told miss lau my good CSI news (warrick is getting married)and well she sort of said, "di pwedeng mangyari yun!" she really hates being spoiled!!! that's just sad.... i almost did a kat-like stint in the faculty room... i remember miss mortel was there... anyway, i'll be skipping prcatice tomorrow so that i can go home early....wish us luck in our speech choir, hope we win... kahit third man lang... para wala nang practice... oh yea, our retreat is on september 29-30... don't forget our palancas... if you want, i can print your letter for kat and disguise is as my own so she'll be surprised, i hope you get to read this before the week ends so we can talk about it....
